Professional Guide
I am fully accredited by the Moroccan Ministry of Tourism as Official Tour Guide: number 2266.

Fully Narrated Tour
During the visit I will explain you the history of each place we visit and the history of the country and the city in general as well as our culture, traditions, and the most important local events happening in the city.
The visit can be organized ( explained ) in several languages that I master: English, French and Arabic.
Historic Landmarks
In our tour we will visit the highlights of the city.
We will stop in all the tourist sites to visit them and take pictures.
Transportaion
For a maximum of comfort and safety, I will provide you a private and modern air-conditioned Bus/Van/Car with enough space for everyone to be comfortable.

Cost
The price varies according to the type of tour and the number of people.
I offer discounts for groups of more than 8 people and children under one-year-old up to 6 years old are free.
Payement methods (CASH): Dollars, Euros or local currency (MAD) in the end of the tour.
Duration
The average duration is the one you will find on the list of tours. I can customize the duration according to your needs.
Option:
We can as well arrange the round trip tickets from Tarifa to Tangier and vice versa with a reduced price, as information we collaborate with FRS ferry Company.

Benamar is an intelligent and personable young man who has earned his credentials to become a professuonal tour guide. Great communication skills (we did the tour in English) and he made us very welcome. The tour was a good mix of showcasing Tanger’s natural beauty, different experiences (Ok, a camel ride might seem a bit touristy, but I’m glad we tried it), history and culture. Wish we had Benamar with us to advise and bargain when we went to the medina the previous day – he gave us some great tips. Good restaurant recommendations too. I highly recommend you do Benamar’s tour or talk to him about customizing one for you. He also is a guide in other cities in Morocco not just Tanger.

I’ve taken a lot of tours in my day (I’ve been to 30 countries) and this one was my absolute favorite. 6 hours flew by and at the end, I felt like a local. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to do camels, eat amazing food, be inspired by the local culture, and have a true historian as your guide.

I recently had the opportunity to travel to Morocco and spend three weeks exploring this amazing country. And out of all the cities I visited, I must say Tangier was my absolute favorite! The experience I had in this city has had a lasting impact on not only me, but my whole traveling group. Tangier is so beautiful; but we also had an amazing tour guide, Achraf, who made the experience so much more memorable! He is extremely friendly and easy to talk to, which made the day less stressful as traveling can be. He is also knowledgeable about all the places that we visited and has a great sense of humor! It was like we were learning and exploring Tangier with a friend. We booked a tour with Benamar Tour Guides via the internet with barely any knowledge about them and hoping that the tour would be enjoyable. We met our guide, Achraf, right where he said we would meet in a professional vehicle with a sign stating our name. Achraf, and the driver Ali, helped us into the vehicle and we very kind. As the tour began, Achraf kept us constantly entertained by explaining all the sites and their history, and stopping frequently to let us take pictures of the beautiful scenery. As we wanted group pictures, he took great pictures of us all together. We noticed little things that made the trip more enjoyable, like our camel ride was a little longer than all the other tourists, the vendors in the market didn’t try to hassle us like other tourists, and we were able to see I estimate settings that we would never have found on our own. When we were confused about our ferry tickets, he took us to the ferry – with no extra charge – and helped us to rectify the situation. As we were still a little lost, he walked us back to our bnb – which was no where near where he had to go. He gave us information for the next leg of the trip and he asked us to call if we have any problems along our way. This is a great tour service, Achraf is a phenomenal tour guide, and he helped to make my birthday a blast!

Achraf was outstanding. He was waiting for us before our our arranged time. His English is excellent as is his knowledge of Tangier. We had a wonderful walking tour and saw all the main sites in the city. I highly recommend him to anyone who enjoys learning about a wonderful city . We asked if he would take groups larger than four, as specified on the Tours by Locals site and he said he could accommodate larger groups. He also treated our group to a refreshment and local cookies!

Achraf proved to be the perfect guide for our tour of Tangier. This was our first trip to North Africa and he made it memorable and unique by the outstanding service he gave us in terms of knowledge pf the area and varied experiences. We had an overview of the city and visited the fascinating Cave of Hercules, as well as lunch in a local restaurant with tasty cuisine. We visited the Kasbah and the shops and oh yes, the not to be missed camel ride. I highly recommend this gentleman as your guide.

I can highly recommend a tour of Tangier and beyond with Achraf. Five of us recently took a 6 hour tour of Tangier with Achraf and his driver that included time for a super lunch in the Kasba area. Achraf is a certified Morrocan tour guide. In addition to his knowledge that he shares with you, the van that he uses is equipped with charging cables for your phone, water and chocolates! Achraf and his driver are also there to take pictures and videos of you and your friends from multiple phones. Achraf was born and raised in Tangier; has been doing tours for more than 5 years and his mother and father are tour guides!!
